Lizzie is on the move!

Lizzie is keeping us very busy these days! She is 7 1/2 months and doing great! She is crawling and trying to pull herself up! She has a new smile that makes us laugh and she now gives kisses! She basically grabs our face and sucks on it... only a parent can enjoy this! ha ha :) She still loves to give hugs too! We took Lizzie to her gastro dr for a check up last week and she was 15lbs 12 oz. He was pleased with her development and was not concerned about the fact that she isn't really enjoying her solid foods. He said to keep offering the food 3x per day so that is what we will do. She does enjoy her Cheerios though! I think that once she can eat more independently she will enjoy it more. It will probably be easier for her to eat independently when she gets some teeth! We are still waiting for her teeth to make an appearance! Even without teeth she has really gotten the hang of picking up the Cheerios. Its very cute! Lizzie is thriving at day care and is so happy there. She interacts well with the other children and loves her teachers. She also enjoys painting at school! She is such a happy girl and thankfully she's been healthy too!

Our last post was around Halloween so let me fill you in on what's been keeping us busy! We celebrated my mom's birthday. We went to Long Island for Thanksgiving. Auntie Stef came to stay overnight. We have had some play dates with friends on the weekend. We went to get our Christmas tree at Maple Row in Easton. It was a beautiful day and not too cold either! We had to put our tree up and decorate early because we had an adult party on Friday! It was so much fun and we had such a nice group over. We hope to do that again soon! We used the party as an opportunity to have Lizzie sleep at Grandma's and Papa's in her pack n play. She did an awesome job! I went to join her for the sleep over once the party was over. I wasn't ready to spend the night away from my sweet girl! We have also enjoyed some down time at home. We savor the weekends with Lizzie and I really enjoyed taking a nap snuggled up with Lizzie on Sunday. She is such a snuggler! I hope she stays that way!!!

Bryan has also been keeping busy doing some home projects. He painted our basement and we have finally gotten new carpet on the stairs and in the "playroom" in the basement. He also did a great job with the fall clean up. As usual he takes great care of our home! Thanks Bry!

We have a busy couple of weeks ahead with get togethers and Christmas gatherings. We are really looking forward to catching up with friends and family during this season. We have so much to be thankful for this year.
